So I was stopped at a red light in my 06 sti and a rx8 pulled up, when it turned green he took off as I casually made my way to the next red light, threw my throttle control into sp3 and burned him by at least 6 car lengths, stop at the gas station and he screams out at me "HAHA I HAD YOU ON THE FIRST ONE" ..

I received another weird gesture on I-64 in VA this past weekend.

Passed an older model Chrystler Minivan, cruising at speed limit when all of a sudden that same van flies by me in the passing lane. The passenger leans out of the window as he passes and starts eyeballing myself and the car. He has this angry and stern look on his face so I just dropped into 5th and blew by. I wasn't gonna stick around that guy any longer than I had to because that situation creeped me out.

Do you complete passes by changing lanes back fairly soon? I'm not saying you're purposely cutting people off, and in this case you may have not even changed lanes, BUT, I do have a friend who makes some fairly close lane changes, and he doesn't even think it's close, even though if you follow him, people he passes are applying brakes as he gets in front of them.

I was already in the passing lane on approach and probably rode the lane for another 20-30m before moving over. I did flip a casual glance as I passed to the driver which was either his wife or daughter, I couldn't tell behind those ridiculously oversized sunglasses.

Well, for what it's worth, I had something similar happen to me, and I reacted the same way you did (to just get out of there).

Default Gas Station Interactions are the best

When I pulled into the gas station there were two young guys on crotch rockets taking Instagram photos..
Kids: Nice car man.
Me: Thanks, you can add it to your photos if you'd like
Kidswhile walking over) how fast does that go?
Me: The speed limit

Needless to say they were less than impressed. I know there are already stories like this, but its the first time it happened to me.

Pulled up to a intersection in a small lake town and a bunch of teenagers were sitting around outside on a couch at a yard sale or something. One of them sees my car and starts shouting, "beamer, kyle! it's a beamer! kyle! BEAMER! Look!!"

Couldn't tell if the kid was just a complete fool or was trying to mock me or something. Drove off with a rather heavy foot.

True story.

Default Rice

Not about my WRX but my girlfriend and I were driving around and I got stuck in the city behind a 90s civic hatch with a fart can and it smelled/sounded like my 4.5hp push mower.
me: "you smell that?"
GF: "Smells like rice."
Took me by surprise... needless to say shes learned well.

Doing an oil change at my in-laws house and my sister-in-law and her husband drop by to pick up their son. As I started the car to move it, the husband says, "You like the sound of that? I don't know how people like it." BTW, 3" turboback with a perrin twin tip.
I just looked at him and didn't say anything, he's a real douche anyways and didn't want to get into it with him. I don't get along with him anyways so no need for communication.

Girlfriend asked me "So your car has a V8, right?"

First I was like, guess that means she thinks it's fast

Then I was like, homie, we've been dating for two years and you come to meets all the time

I have my 04 debadged, no Subaru or wrx logos anywhere on the car. The only way to identify this car is if you know what it is or look up the vin tag. I didn't have my license plates on yet since the car was repainted and previous owner says the body shop had misplaced it.. Anywho long story short, I got a parking ticket. The parking enforment person wrote down Toyota corolla.. facepalm, win? Or no win?

Win. Go to court and argue that you do not own a toyota corolla and have it thrown out.

I was at the local shopping center yesterday and a guy walks out.

him: "HELL YEAH SUBARU!"
me: "thanks man I love them too"
him: "I have on just like it"
me: "awesome"

at this point I'm thinking, cool another Subaru enthusiast in town. Up until I went to go home and saw him standing by his car. Bugeye RS, white with different color doors, bumpers, trunk lid, and some strange 16'' wheels I have never seen before. Clearly just like my all black wrx. I hope its a project car.

No. If they didnt get your vin, the ticket is not even worth going to court for. They have the wrong info, its as if you never received a ticket.
