Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the club! Not sure if they have seat covers out yet for the 15 wrx but I'm sure they will be out soon... Maybe check Subaru or some of the vendor classifieds on here... Lots of luck!

Seat covers for you are like a catch-22.

If you don't get seat covers the leather gets ruined (according to you). If you do get seat covers the leather will be good but you'll never notice because it's hidden under a seat cover.

I thought one of the benefits of leather is that it's easy to clean? Granted it will still crack over time but a seat cover won't prevent that.

But seat covers will protect it from dogs. Which he also has.

I've never understood people that spend the money on leather and then just cover it. The whole point is to have leather. I personally don't like leather, so this is a non-issue in my world.

What the seat covers protect the leather from is not the point. Be it dogs or kids, that makes no difference. The point is that if you put seat covers on your'e going to have great leather seats that no one will ever see.

Like you, I'm not a fan of leather (nor do I have kids or a dog) so perhaps I'm not seeing it from his perspective but I don't understand the benefit of seat covers unless the seats are already messed up and you don't want to look at that eye sore.

Sort of like those black bras

Sure, you don't have a couple of chips smaller than a BB but you have an ugly black bra now. Which is worse?
