I'm doing my timing on my 98 RS and I have everything lined up, as far as I can tell correctly. The only thing is when I put the final idler pully on it pulls the drivers side double hashes (to align the intake and exhaust cams) out of alignment. They look like they're 1/2 a tooth off or so. The marks all line up on the belt and the teeth count seems correct.
Is this normal? And does the tensioner realign everthing? Thanks, Brian |
