Default re-routing the JDM wrx harness into LHD car

hey- has anyone tried / done this?

ive got a JDM wrx ej20g going into a 93 L.

i have the COMPLETE (all 3 intact) wiring harnesses from the 93 (purchased front clip), and was pondering swapping out ALL harness - even headlights/radiator etc and simply using the JDM RHD harness. im guessing that it will be close to fitting in the right positin for LHD, and i would just need to unravel or lengthen abit of the RHD harness to attach tot eh right places.

i am assuming:
1. accessories (HVAC, blowers, condensor black box thingys, are all using the same plug ends

2. fuel pump plug is the same so my harness will plug in

3. rear lights wil plug in

anyone have anything to say - anyone tried and miserably failed?

im guessing that most people dont get the full harness when they swap, im doing a 94 to 93, so im assuming that everything will be compatible?

ive got EVERYTHING. bought the clip and took it all :P

YES use the jdm harness, its the easiest way to do it. The jdm cars run wires down both sides of the car. I had to extend about 15 wires(all the wires that go down the passenger side of the car). They were for the fans, marker lights and such. Also the door wiring harness have to be extened swapped(driver has ALL the controls for all the windows). All the engine managemnet wires work fine with no mods. Never assume any of the plugs are the same. I did a ver 6 into a my98 and the heater controls were a PITA. The jdm car had electronic climate control!! The fuel pump/gauge plug was different but there wasnt to many wires to change there. I had the rear light harness with my swap and it included a trunk light and rear wiper wires. I dont know if your harness will plug into rear light harness or not.
The harness gets very tight behind the heater box and around the pedals, make sure it doesnt rub on anything sharp, using the stock mounts is just about impossible, but some can be used.
The ecu mounts have to be modded but that was no big deal.
