I have read that the new brakes are much improved as well. From what I can find, you can attribute this to the fact that Subaru has built in a higher brake pedal leverage ratio. This supposedly makes them feel more firm, and have a bit more 'weight'.

SVT people, did you use stock brake fluid? Also, do you know if it was DoT 3 or 4? Also, has anyone (in any car) tried to race with DoT 3, then switch to 4? Could you tell us how it helped?
