Default Would the EJ22 bolt into an EJ18 as easy as the EJ25 bolts in?

I have the FWD 93 Impreza. In college= no loans= low income. I know people have put the EJ25 in place of their EJ18 with the same ECU. What about an EJ22? I have a EJ22 NA laying around from a 94 legacy (OBD-I) It would probably be a little quicker than the EJ18 especially with the FWD, but the fact is that my EJ18 has 210,000 miles on it and it is really starting to go.
