Default STi ECU

I picked up an extra ECU for my sti

Numbers on the unit are as follows:
8J
22611AJ241
112200-7113
12V
227113G

So I want to plug it in and check if it work....I understand it's under the passanger seat. It that correct? Anyone posted a guide? Nada under search..
