('93-'01) Anyone Use PriceShaver?

Just wondering. I'm considering the WRX as a lease deal, but b/c of the low residuals thus far, I'm looking at buying maybe instead. I went to the priceshaver site, but really wasn't clued in on how the whole thing works. So you basically put in a % from your local CU and give them (PS) the term you want? The monthly payments looked very attractive, but I'm wondering if there is a catch? Can anyone give me some more details on this site? Thanks. John

I just checked it out on my local Credit Union's website. What's the catch? I'm trying to get all my financing together for my WRX, and this seems perfect for me. I'll have more info tomorrow.

I did some researching and I think one of the catches is that you have to be a member of a participating CU, which I am not. Damn! It sure looks like a good way to go though.I'm not going to open an account at another bank just to get this to work, but then again....
