Default Catless Midpipe?

Is it possible to have a catless midpipe, i.e. straight pipe, without the sensors? I was thinking of doing a straight pipe for the track and just zip tying the sensors to something under the car.

Is this possible or will it make the computer do funny things or hurt the sensors, etc.? Oh yeah, its a 2000 2.5RS.
