Exclamation i need rust patching help

ive been working on trying to patch up the rust holes in my rx. while cutting out some of the rust, i noticed that the mudflap was hiding some really bad rust, i ended up with a nice hole in the corner and i had to cut off about 1/4 of the lip that runs around the inside of the fender. now i cant re use the mudflap and i need to find a way to reconstruct the corner of the fender. i dont have access to a welder, i do have bondo patches, but im not sure if that will work. i could use some advice, or if anyone is in the frederick md, area, some help.

It's hard to say without seeing what you've got to work with. I had a old wagon ('84) that had some major rust around the rear. I did a quick fix for inspection (knew I would only keep if for another year or two) that involved riveting strip metal and using fiberglass and bondo, priming and painting over. It was actually damn secure and we were even able to bend it to reattach the rear flaps. Did not look hot, but then neither does large holes in your car. And in high-school you didn't need a hot car if you played soccer?

hmmm, you bring up a good point, it dont have to look pretty, just get through inspection, as long as the back doesnt fall off till i want it off.
