Corn-Picker Scooby Specialist Member#: 8679 Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: Morgantown, WV Vehicle: 2010 The most hated vehicle on the internets	Question for the OT credit rating know-it-alls How bad is it (with respect to credit rating) to dump one credit card, and sign up for another: a: If you have a balance b: If you have no balance I have under 1k on my Capital One card from my "auto-x incident" awhile back, and have been thinking about transferring balances since Capital One has been pissing me off lately. Should I wait another two months until I can pay my balance off to transfer? Or, would transferring to a "0% APR on balance transfers" card not hurt my credit rating? Also, what's a fair price to pay for an online credit evaluation? About $25 to $30 for scores from all 3 major credit raters?
