Post NW Subaru Meet

The Pacific Northwest Subaru Enthusiasts Club will be hosting a get-together. Old and new, if you drive a Subaru and enjoy it, you’re encouraged to show up.

Where:
Wenberg State Park, Smokey Point/Arlington, WA
http://www.parks.wa.gov/wenberg.htm

When:
Sunday July 16th Starting around 11:00am

Current members of the PNWSEC may attend the event free of charge. Non-members of PNWSEC can come to the event, and a small food/parking fee, to be determined, will be charged at the event.

At this time, PNWSEC is NOT accepting new members, and likely will not until the day of or after. This is due to a change in the structure and layout of the club.

There will be food and soft drinks for all. Food will also be provided for people with vegetarian diets. Bottled water will NOT be provided, if you have a need for bottled water you will need to bring your own.

There will also likely be at least one full-blown SCCA ProRally Subaru in attendance, and there will be a show with awards in different classes (custom & stock, Early Subarus, Legacy/Impreza class Subarus, overall best of show, highest mileage, and maybe the most dirtiest .

The classes and awards are as follows:

Highest Mileage:
Group One: This is for all Subarus made through 1989. 5-digit odometer vehicles must provide adequate documentation of number of times the odometer has rolled over. (3 awards)
Highest Mileage, Group Two: Everything from '90 to 2001. (3 awards)
Show: Stock Class: All stock or close-to-stock cars are eligible for this. The closer to stock the better, extra points for maintaining a dead stock car the older it gets. (3 awards)

Show:
Custom Cosmetics: All cars are eligible for this. We're concerned about things you can see on the exterior of the car or inside the passenger cabin. The more you do, the better. The cleaner it looks, the better. (3 awards)
Custom Mechanical: All cars are eligible for this. This has to do obviously with what mechanical adjustments you've done. (3 awards)

Best in Show:
Older Classes: All Subarus through '84 including BRATs and Hatchbacks made thru '87 and '89 respectively. (ONE award)
Best in Show: Loyale Classes: All Subarus from '85 to '89 including XTs, XT6s, Loyales, and Justies thru '94. (ONE award)
Best in Show: Legacy and Impreza Classes: All Legacy, Impreza, and SVX variants. (ONE award)

Everyone may participate in as many classes as they like, as long as their car qualifies. Best of luck to all participants.

For those of you with 5-digit odometers who wish to compete in the highest mileage classes - adequate documentation (such as chronologically dated service receipts) will be required to show proof of actual mileage (i.e. how many times the odometer has gone around)

Smart Service, Inc. should be there with their information booth, and may also be holding another raffle like last year.

Everyone is more than welcome to bring any Subaru memorabilia or parts to sell to other people.

For the out-of-towners, there's camping at the park itself, and if the park is full, Kayak Point is only another three or so miles up the road.

We need to know how many cars and people we have showing up. For each of you that are planning to come, tell me how many vehicles and how many bodies you are bringing.
