Yeah, isn't that one of those blindingly expensive data acquisition systems that road racers use?

Yep.. $1500ish it looks like.. well it's your money

So basically what your cluster already does plus some? Where does it mount? For the money, wouldnt it be cheaper to just buy some extra gauges? I think I must be missing the point, but..Im a n00b

The main difference between this, and buying gauges, is that when you buy gauges and keep the factory cluster, you can see everything at once, but with this, you can't..

That and cost, of course.

It's a nice piece, I "appreciate" it, just wondering what the point of it is on a street car.

No, i wish there were. Seems like most of it happens on the west coast. I have considered Ulitmate Street Car Challenge or like the Primedia Time Attack Phil from Element tuning has done.

So far Im enetered in a few shows for this summer. Not sure when I'll race it, but will definately take it to the track to see what it runs after its all done.

Well if I had to tackle this job by myself I would go nuts....Im just going to give it to Andrew and tell him to have at it. I think I'm going to have it layed in Carbon Fiber to fill in the what space is left from the stock cluster.

here are a few shots i took a couple weeks ago(not the best...)...there is much more stuff on the way and not yet installed.

Is the car still at Hillmoth? I live on the other side of the airpark and would love to take a look at it if you do not mind.
