EDIT: FOR SALE AGAIN, but this time in Boise, ID
I'm only the third owner after two older gentleman, and this car has been treated well, never abused or raced, at any point in its life. State SVX is in: Idaho Year: 1994 Model: SVX LSi Paint Color: Laguna Blue Interior Color: Dark Grey (Leather) Miles: 74,0XX (current DD) Location: Boise / Eagle Options: Power Equip, Sunroof, AWD, Speed Sensitive Steering (usual LSi pkg items) AWD or FWD: AWD Modifications: 6000k HID headlights, K&N Filter, Removed the SVX badges from behind the rear-windows (they're still on there in the pictures) and tinted the windows all the way around to 50% except for the windshield, which has none, and the roll-down portion of the front windows, which are a lighter 70% to remain Cali-legal. (visible in photos) Major service: had the 60k full-service done by my trusted mechanic before I drove it down to SoCal here. When I got that service done I also had to get the water pump replaced, which wasn't part of the planned service. Engine Condition: Runs smooth and strong, always using Premium Octane gas. I managed to fix the old kinks and now she runs without a hitch ![]() Maintenance Records: I created a personal binder that I keep in the car with all the records: legal, mods, service, etc. stemming back to my original purchase of the car Transmission condition: Stock, Shifts smooth. Glass condition: Clean, no chips or blemishes to report aside from usual road wear. Type of wheels: the stocks that came with it out of the factory, clean with no real curb rash Interior condition: Clean throughout, no stains in the suede. Only real gripe to note is a tear in the center console just ahead of the back seat ashtray (i'll get a pic of it soon) I attempted to glue it with an epoxy I had, but if those sorts of things both you, you'll still notice it. (nobody I know ever notices it) Body condition: Great. The paint is all original with no oxidation, having been garage kept before I owned it, and garage kept while I was in in California. Just some chips and marks here and there from a lot of highway miles (I've covered most with factory-correct touch-up paint) Known defects or problems: I've fixed everything so that there's virtually nothing to report other than the light that illuminates the Cruise control button at night has dimmed out, haha. All that's left is the non-working CD player portion of the stereo, that and the tear in the center console I spoke of earlier. Comments about the car: This car appeared in the most recent SVX Calendar! Money being the key reason I'm selling my beloved baby. The car has been solid and treated me reliably well since I bought it in the August of '07 with 52k miles on the odo. (the story can be found on this site) I seriously love this car, and see it as a true extension of myself, but now I'm buying back my old Blazer for half-price and using the money from this sale to go towards an '08 Ninja 250R for me to learn to ride on and commute with ![]() Asking price: $6000 Pictures: Next Post. Just one? I figure there'd be more up where you live. They're rare, but pretty popular in the NE and the NW for classy snow-cars haha.
I figured I'd be the only one in California here, but I've actually seen two around town. People down here don't really own Subarus at all unless they're STi's ![]() |

I've updated the first post so that all the info is now current. I have the car for sale in Boise & Eagle here, and you might see it driving around with "For Sale" written on the windows because it's my daily driver.
Hopefully someone takes a liking to it there was a swarm of people around it when I had it parked at work yesterday, so I figure that's a good sign haha |

It's a factory Auto, the original tranny, as a matter of fact, though since it's my daily driver I'm now up to 77k miles.
It's a shame you're aren't closer, too. I'm installing a really nice new head unit in soon since I've had a number of calls and interested folks, but they were all more interested in trading or getting a loan or doing payments, so I'm just holding onto it until I've got a serious buyer lined-up. The unit is a Pioneer P8000BT, but i'll keep the factory radio and CD player to sell with the car as well. The factory CD player's motor is just to weak to eject CD's so I just use a tape converter with my iPod instead. Though with this new unit, my iPod will be a lot more willing to work with it. ![]() |
