You beat me too it. That's exactly what I was going to say.

For the record, I love Miller Lite as my every day drinking beer.

EDIT: Anyone else who posts about Miller Lite being a crappy beer is an unoriginal douche. Yes, we know. There are thousands of fancy beers out there that are "better".

I've gone through stages and enjoyed every beer under the sun, but for the last 3 years I'm stuck with Miller Lite... I don't need funky exotic beers anymore, from rare microbreweries, etc. Miller Lite does it for me these days and it seems like it will stay that way for many years.

What is the cost of that vs. the cost of buying the same amount of beer in cans/bottles?

Wine in a box isn't a bad idea...it's just crappy wines that get boxed.

I finished off my Paulaner mini-keg last weekend. Not the absolute best hefe in the world, but it's still damn good.

Widmer does it with their hefe too. I will celebrate greatly if they do it with their new Drifter Pale Ale.

"Black Box" wines are more than decent if you can get them in your area.

Just to settle something. Wine in a box is the absolute best way to package wine. It never sees daylight or air until you pour it. The next best is twist on caps, followed by rubber corks, followed by cork corks.

Funny how the cheaper the packaging is perceived, the better storage medium it is.

See, that's bull****. Doesn't surprise me in the least, though.

The Widmer and Paulaner mini-kegs work out a tiny bit above even. It's worth it, especially in the Paulaner's case. It's like 192 oz for $16 (12-pack) vs. 170 oz for $18 (5 liter keg). I'm sure it's partially psychological, but it just tastes better to me.

What beer?

Had the Widmer keg the other weekend, was perfectly acceptable delivery method for large groups, IMHO.

Heineken is good. It just must be kept COLD. Warm Heine is weak Heine.
