Unhappy Saab! Friend or Foe?!

So i recently moved to north houston and i have seen a few Saabs around here and i have been wondering if there is any rivalry between Saab's and Subaru's. Do i give them the Subaru wave or Finger? anyways the real rivalry is mazda wagons I mean i guess its opinions but i really think thats gay how Madza copied the wrx wagons. i mean does anyone else get that "i hate you" look when they see a mazda wagon while their driving their wrx wagon, cause i sure do... Im just waiting for one them to say' "hey that is an old wrx beater wagon, Lets Race!". (rape) I never have been one to ever think about defiling another persons ride but god i sure was tested when i walked outside of the walmart. Guess what my eyes beheld,, A mazda wagon parked so close to my wagon that i had to get in through the passenger door(WTF) I thought about spitting on the car but i looked on the hood and there was already a huge spot of bird **** so i said justice has already been served and i went home. (fin)

^^^^^i treat every car with respect until they start driving idiotic. i try to throw the deuce to any car that appeals to me, no car really deserves the finger unless they prove otherwise.

What you should probably do is fight everyone. The world isn't divided enough. Cars tell everything about a person, so make your judgments, throw your rocks and be done.

Or you could just talk to car enthusiasts and chill out because rivalries are media hype. And if there are any real rivalries that matter, an Evo will probably just come along and bonk you...

Me thinks you got that part backwards.

In his defense, I'm pretty sure he's talking about protege wagons and not the newbies.

What is this, the outsiders??

I've never had any problems with anyone in any other car, and I live near Boston, the hate capital of the US.

That title is kind of misleading.....the post was mostly about Mazda wagons. If you are talking about the Saabaru wagons, I am not sure why there would be a rivalry with Subaru due to the fact that they have many identical attributes.

Word. This kid is 6 years older than I would have guessed, but I suppose they don't let 12 year olds drive in Texas.

Not that it matters at all, but are you speaking of Pre-GM SAABs or GM-SAABs. I'd say the PRE-GM SAAB community (9000, 900, 90, 99, and earlier) was very close to, if not a forunner to, the current Suby Community. "thesaabnetwork.com" was around way back in the early 90s and was very similar, in intent, as nasioc is now.

I lost interest in SAAB models after GM bought them. I have had (2) 900s (84S and a 86T) and a 1974 Sonett III.

El Capitan,
We might start to like SAAB again if they go back to being SAAB instead of Saab. (Insiders know what I mean ) Saab is being bought by Koinsberg, not sure how the company is spelled. Any way, they make super cars. The first vehicle they made though had a 16 valve SAAB Turbo in it. Still want one. Still can't afford it.

"Koenigsegg". Just FYI. And I fixed that for ya. I was pleased to hear that Saab was bought by a worthwhile auto maker. I'll be interested to see what comes of it.

To the OP: Get a life. Give respect to everyone on the road unless the prove themselves unworthy of it. But especially don't be rude to someone just because they drive a "rival" car. Very immature.

yea i personally dont have any beef with any other car owners except for the ricers that roll up on you and try to race you when youre only trying to cruise and have a good day... i hate that because i own a wrx ricers assume i want to race... thats about the only type of car people i cant stand. other then that they are all cars and everyone has different tastes
