Default header = tighten wastegate?

i read on the grimmspeed site that after you intall thier P&P exhaust manifold you need to tighten the wastegate 1 full turn. now it only makes sense to do the same for any after marked header.

i do have wastegate flutter, my boost in 3rd gear is right around 16-17psi but some days, more lately now it only hits 15psi. my boost gauge is a defi so i trust it.

i have never heard of this before, am i retarded??

You're retarded Just kidding, you set yourself up for it! I can tell you from my experience that when I installed a GT Spec Gen II header on my car, my boost went from 18 at peak to 16. So it makes sense that you would need to adjust the wastegate arm a little. I, however, left it as it was. 16 PSI is plenty for me, seeing as it's a DD.
