Default Travis Pastrana to attempt world record

TP, the 'other' driver for Subaru Rally Team USA, apparently is doing his best Ken Block impersonation...

Quote:
Pastrana to attempt world record

Travis Pastrana announced on his website yesterday that he will attempt a world record in this year’s Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. According to his site, Pastrana will try to “shatter” the current record for distance jumping in a car. I imagine he’ll be using a Subaru.
The jump is slated to be in Los Angeles, but there isn’t a definite location yet.
Red Bull have put forward a New Year’s stunt before, most memorably Robbie Madison jumping onto the Arc de Triomphe in Las Vegas last year. Rhys Millen also attempted a backflip in a truck, much less successfully.

Meh, enough with the giant jumps. I'd rather watch racing than Evil Kenivel.

I think both are good drivers, but the first to do a backflip in a subaru, land on their wheels and drive away has my vote for best

I don't think the Subaru will take the impact as well as the monster truck Travis tried this in on Nitro Circus when he lands it on the roof.
