Subaru Love...errr Hate?

I drive an 05 wrx. Java with no tint, no wing, factory wheels and no real external mods. This dude in ver5 was coming at me down the same road. He proceeds to stick his arm out of his window and make big thumbs up, then turned it upside-down and shoved it towards the ground! What the heck I was thinkin.

Someone fill me in.

Next time you see him stick your arm out the window and give him a big thumbs down and start to raise it for a thumbs up, but then emphatically do a thumbs down Finnish... A big sneer on your face would also help. But maybe that's just me.

I think he wanted to race. Get you a little aggrivated so you'll come after him.

If your car is fast enough to beat him you could chase him down, race him, then motion "no, YOU thumbs down" and laugh.

That's what I would do, shut him up.

Heck I see other Imprezas around here all the time and none of them seem to acknowledge they even see mine. Only get a waive from one guy in a heavily modded STi. Guess they are too focused on their college studies.

only give the thumbs up to the evo's and occasionally to ms3's i see. vdubs? no thanks. distracting a driver in a car that's pending on falling apart is not a good idea. now, the thumbs down i would never do unless the guy is being a prick.
