Hi,
Quick question. Should there be something loose inside the compressor housing? Looks like my 20G has some kind of aluminium ring loose inside the housing. I was thinking that if I install the turbo like that the thin ring is going to touch the blades at some point. Please help me. P.S. What parts should I see if I take the compressor housing off? Thanks!

there should be no loose pieces inside your housing. Can you tell us more about the turbo, who made it, is it new, etc... Also any pics would help.

I am going to send a picture soon. I took the compressor housing off and I found something scary **** inside of it..
Turbo is brand new. I found nicely shawed aluminium "o"ring almost as large as the diameter of the compressor housing. Not happy right now. ![]() It would have been a total destruction installed as received.. ****. ALWAYS inspect your Turbo before installing it. Any brand, used or totally new. |
