Default clunking from front suspension

Hey All,

just wondering, is there a common source on Tribecas that causes clunking suspension noise from the front end when going over bumps? Almost sounds like sway bar end links or something but I took a look under it and everything SEEMS okay upon a basic inspection.

The car is an 06 and is still under warranty.. so to the dealer it goes soon but wanted to know of any common watchouts.

cheers
Marko

could be the struts or the strut mounts, but, without having the dealership look at it, it is just a guess......

Yep, sounds like your sway bar links are shot. Had the same problem with MY BECA, and it was taken care of under warranty.
Get it in as soon as possible and have them replaced for free. No danger while driving, but get it fixed!
Keep it under 90, folks!

Warrantee is just 3/36... but the TOTAL cost of replacing them is $130 at the dealership... labotr included.

Happens to all of them... not a big deal.

Damn dealership labor. The parts are only like $15. I'll take care of the install myself.
