Default The View's Great from the Bandwagon: jordanretro1223's 2007 STI

Ok, so I finally took the plunge and got the car looking exactly how I wanted it. I really like the whole low offset look hence the title.

I got coilovers and new wheels. These are probably my second favorite wheels of all time for Subaru's after my previous set (Gram Lights 57F in bronze).

My camera is not the best but these came out nice. No where near Timeatk status in other words...

Things to note:

Wheels: 18x9 +29 Advan RS in Dark Gunmetallic
Tires: Falken Azenis RT615 235/40/18
Suspension: Stance GR+ 8k/6k Coilovers w/ front helper springs
Fender mods: Grinded and pulled rears. Small role in the front.
Ride height: (Center of hub to fender) Front 12.8". Rear 12.5"
Camber: 2.3 degrees front. 2.0 degrees rear

Pics! I hope you like it!

Thanks for looking!

Let me be the first to say, looks good to me. Some might say the wheels are "so last year," but I think they look great! Better then the grids IMO.

Damn, I need to find a wingless trunk!

Yeah I agree. Nothing that hasn't been done already.

But remember they're not Rota's which means not that many have done it the right way!

Haha. My winter wheels, the stock BBS are gold so I didn't want more gold wheels.

Thanks D. I know it can go lower but I will scrape everywhere. It's already risky for me going into some places.

I will most likely go lower for next spring though. The winter is coming and I have to drive the car year round. I also got corner balanced and aligned over the weekend so I am not touching it for a while.

Like I said, definitely next spring when I'll be due for another alignment and put the nice wheels back on the car.

Car's come a long way and it's sex. Paint the headlights to match the dark wheels and call it a day. Would make your car 3x as aggressive.

it looks perfect. That is just how they should come out of the factory. Really, it is super clean. Those wheels are not played out, the look-alikes are. I would say my wheels, cr kais, are more played out than those.
