Anything is art to somebody, and its not art to someone else. Not much to discuss.

Chris Bangle wouldn't know a graceful body line if it punctured his spleen.

I prefer BMW's The Hire series.

http://dreams.honda.com/#/allstories

Honda released some interesting short films. Not so much about design, but kinda neat.

Chris Bangle ruined BMW's looks. The E46 was a great shape and then Bangle accidently the entire lineup. Upon his departure from running cal design, it's taken generation changes in the BMW line to back away from his designs, but they've clearly been doing exactly that from the first release of the Bangle Butt 7 series. Flame design. I've got your flame design right here, Bangle, you moron.

(jack.....former BMW fanboi and now wants nothing to do with BMW)

The bangle bum on the 5,6,7 sedans is hideous. The 5 wagon is not as offensive. I don't mind the E90 so much.

If you want to learn about design as art, the guy who was named the car designer of the 20th century was Giorgetto Giugiaro. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giorgetto_Giugiaro

OK, some of the cars are homey, but some are "rolling artwork".

I don't think Bangle will ever be nominated for an award like that.

I agree. Chris Bangle's cars are art.

Unfortunately, it's art garfunkel.

Giorgetto Giugiaro, yes for sure.

Tom Tjaarda is my personal favorite. He designed some cars that I just never get tired of looking at. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Tjaarda
