OT Help Me Be More Romantic

OT this is my situation, I've been with my gf for 2 years and 2 month. Out of these 2 years I've given her flowers 2 to 3 times, special occations of course birthday, annieversary etc..... so today she decides to complain about how unromantic I am and that I need to be more romantic. This triggered by a friend of hers that came by her work. Stating that her bf had gotten her flowers out of the blue and that he was romantic.

Thing is I have never been romantic, nor do I know exactly what it is I can do to make her understand that I love and do care for her. I don't take her for granted and constantly remind her of how much I love her. We do everything together and I just can't comprehend what it is she is missing.

Believe me, she has put up with a lot of my **** but not to say that I haven't from her.

So OT help me be more romantic. I know OT is tough and ima get flamed but I can take it.

only advice that i can do it surprise her with stuff, they seem to think its romantic when you plan something nice to do without asking them or letting them know. if she comes homw from work and you made dinner and maybe jsut have a nice slow night together she will dig that. plus it will earn you fuKc points with her

Basically just surprise her with little things every few weeks to a month. Box of chocolates, surprise dinners (either out or in), flowers, notes, etc. Don't overdo it or it will become passé.

Also pay attention to whether she does things for you too. If she doesn't, you could be starting down a slippery slope.

Are your weekend getaways always for a particular reason? (anniversay, birthday, etc...) Maybe she wants you to be more spontaneous and do romantic things for no reason at all.

But seriously - the little stuff. Like, I scraped the ice off my gf's car windshield when I left the house so she wouldn't have to do it - she always remembered that. Be willing to hold hands in public, go on small day/weekend trips on occasion - someplace cool but don't tell her where you're going and make sure she sees you put a shovel in your trunk.
