Default J's Graphics - Gloss/Matte Black and Carbon Fiber Vinyl Roof Wraps

Hey guys, I am a new vendor on here, that specializes in car graphics and full car wraps (mainly get more roof wrap requests than full car wraps).

I get people asking me the what a gloss black roof versus a matte black roof looks like all the time, so I will start out with two almost identical E90s I did this weekend. The first one went with a gloss black finish, while the second one went with a matte black finish. It'll give you guys a good idea of how the two compare/contrast.

Gloss black:

Matte black:

If you guys are looking for any vinyl materials to cover your roof, window trim, etc, shoot me a PM with what you need or post up any questions you might have.

White E60 that opted not to have the side/roof rails wrapped, to give it more of that panoramic roof effect:

Shoot me a PM with questions/pricing, if you're interested. I'd like to keep the thread more picture and general questions related.

thanks.

I'll start another thread for the cf material, since I don't want the two to get mixed/jumbled together.

Some more older pictures (excuse the quality of them, they were taking with an ancient camera).

always wanted a black roof.... but how bad does the left over adhesive ruin your roof once you take the vinyl off down the road?

With my material/vinyl it doesn't, that's the great thing about it. It's completely reversible once you want to take it off to sell the car or if you're just simply looking to change the look of your car back. If it did ruin the paint, I wouldn't still be in the business. I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions that people have. However, I partially blame it due to wrong/cheap vinyl being used, that might cause something like that to happen.

Next time edit the quote so that only the last picture remains. No one wants to scroll for days just to see you say "last picture = sex".

It's true, cause it even lags/slows my laptop down a bit when that happens, since there's already so many pictures as it is.

Maybe I am just really out of the loop here but, what is the point of a black vinyl roof?

To keep the car warm during winter, since light is attracted to black/dark colors.

Just kidding

It's just a style/look. Mainly came from cars that had panoramic roofs (Mercs, etc), and it just caught on with other cars. It's kind of like asking what's the point of "time attack" rings on wheels, etc. It's just aesthetically pleasing to some.

I personally think it gives the car a lower stance/appearance, and really pulls and tightens up the look of the car.

Gloss is a never can go wrong choice. However, those who do choose to go with the matte black finish, usually are the ones who know they can pull that look off.
