Unhappy Its been one of those days. First round is on me.

On my way home from work, I got terrible news that an old friend passed away unexpectedly.

Cant keep my mind from thinking of old things, old friends, people I knew from 'a previous life'

Friend of my wife lost her husband this week. Sick, then hurt, then broke, then struggling to recover and fight his way back up and working... and dead.

And now I turn on Spike TV to see something testosterone-laden to take my mind off of these things. Whats on? Forrest Gump.

T-minus two minutes before I'm a blubbering idiot. Why did it have to be Gump? dammit

*leaves on Gump*

Death is inevitable, and I dont think about it whatsoever. My extended family and friends have been fortunate enough to have gone a good amount of time since the last funeral. This one is a surprise, and at the funeral I have a feeling I'll be surrounded by faces from a different place in my life.

The movie is the icing on the cake, because it takes me back to that time of my life. 94/95 Gonna watch, get toasty, and get the emotions all out of my system tonight.

Take your time, it's okay if it takes more than one night. No rush.

I think I'm stupidly insanely fortunate. I've been to one funeral, back 10 years ago when a good friend from high school passed suddenly.

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

Life is short.
You only go around once.
If you do it right, once is enough.

My dad ran over his own leg with his car yesterday, he thought he put it in park but it was in reverse. The car didn't move until he got out, got knocked down by the door and then it ran over his foot and leg, thankfully no broken bones just a ****load of bruising. He is depressed and upset because he can't work. Today he fell and my mom fell with him because she was trying to hold him up.

All in all this week sucked, but could be worse.

*sipping rum and coke*
