Default 15 cars pulled over on the highway

Yo nasioc, while driving home from vball I was on I95 southbound and I saw around 15 cars pulled over, mostly civics and teggys. I did see an rx8 and a 350z while I was passing by. All of them had their hazzards on and I saw a couple troopers surrounding them. Anyone know what happened?

oh sorry this was near ft lee and probably after the weekely meet cause it was around 12 midnight

This sounds likely.
One of them was probably video taping it to load to streetfire later today

And now, let's do the obligatory Public Service Announcement:
[soapbox]

KEEP IT ON THE TRACK!

That way, you won't kill an innocent when you mess up and you won't lose your car when the cops show up.
[/soapbox]

I almost feel sorry for them. But, if you've got the cash to mod. like many of them do, then you can cough up the cash for track days.

What would suck is if they were all just caravaning back from a track day/meet and the cops just pulled them over because they were an easy target.

I couldn't imagine them all getting caught for street racing, it sounds more like a caravan, if they were all street racing they would need quite a few cop cars and they wouldn't be pulled over all in the same spot.

the import tuner scene - full of lame ass low lives who are ridiculously stupid, poor and just plain suck at life, and will continue to perpetuate their uselessness when they decide to reproduce. Much like their parents who enable them to be the way they are.

"yo bee, i be workin diz sick ass job that pays 12 bux n hour, i live at home and im 25, all my money goes to makin my Deea-see-2 integra or my POS bugeye slowbaru whoop up dem hondaz..& my main G has a 350z w/ intake n exhaust yo!"

i hope they all got tickets and their cars impounded LOL (if they were really street racing and doing something wrong)

i dont have a problem with street racers

i just have problems with people who are stupid enough to get caught or people who insist on doing it where they endanger others lives

. i know people who street race ALL the time and make alot of $$ doing it, but they are smart enough to find desolate roads where no one innocent is going to be at risk.

I did some intense research(google) and that case was just closed a few months ago. Both drivers got 45 years to life. If that's a gamble you're willing to take, by all means go for it.

they deserve what they get... residential road, 4-way stop, mother and 2 kids diaf.

different, however, is a group of import cars pulled over en masse. we still don't know if they were caravaning or "group racing" and all equally slow

Sorry, but you must have missed the part where he said, "Find a desolate road where no innocents will be at risk." Obviously the men in your cited article did not do so.

Yeah Why not use something called the TRACK!
They even have a light machine that says GO!
An area to prep your car!
Other people to cheer you on!
Best of All !
Another machine will print up the winner
So no blaming anyone or killing innocent people or risk loosing your license!

Oh wait that's legal!

don't be too judgmental, look at yourselves as if you weren't young and stupid then. It happened in our group too with MR2's trooper started writing up tickets for about 20 of us but decided to let us go when it took too much time and had other calls to respond to. It simply gets their attention no matter what. Some residents complain when doing SBD's with unusual traffic passing thru their town. As far as accidents, I bet more gown ups lead to death and injuries than stupid teens. Just because you own a subie that your above all. Soon this forum will be overwhelmed by them if not already is.

I saw the same thing friday night on the northbound lane of the meadowbrook parkway right before the jericho tpke exit. Some cars were getting towed away, not sure if there was an accident.
