Default Dirty just got a little bit more... house-ier

I just got the call yesterday that the bid I put in on the house I wanted was accepted!

Unfortunately I don't have a camera so I couldn't go 619 on this bitch.

But I snapped a couple with my phone, I'll be getting more photos this weekend.

It's freaking exciting!

I've worked super hard these last couple of years to straighten up and spent the last 6 months watching my credit like a hawk.

Like I said, more pics forthcoming, just had to share for now!

Congrats man, I currently in the beginning stages of getting my own place, which basically means I've stopped wasting money on 6lb gummie bears. It ended up being about $1,200 a month

Yeah same reaction here. I just bought a house with about 1800 sq ft for 150k in Colorado Springs. 3 bed 1 1/2 bath 3 floors. A huge back yard and decent front yard.

95k is a steal.

Same thing is going on here in FL. Nice newer 3/2s (with grass!11) are going for sub-100K.

You spend $1200/month on gummi bears? Damn...

Edit: Oh, and congrats Dirty, enjoy the neverending to-do list that is home ownership.

What part of Phoenix is it located, and who is your builder? That's a good price, nice to see that the market has finally gotten back to reasonable levels out there. We had bought a 3100 sq ft. house in El Mirage for $165,000. We sold it 3 years later for $215,000. If we could have held out one more year, we could have sold it for $375,000. After that, the market readjusted to less-than-crazy levels.

I agree more pictures of this house is needed. Payments will be hella cheap with a 95k loan.
