Default Grease for cam seal install?

I'm ready to pop in a new cam seal in my 01 (2.5 SOHC) and I'm seeing conflicting information concerning greasing the cam seals when installing them. Some guides say nothing about it (not sure if they're just assuming the reader is supposed to know to grease them) while other say "grease the seals", not specifying what kind of grease to use. Does anyone have any input on this?

I always use wheel bearing grease on the inside sealing surface (the part that contacts the cam or other rotating part) when assembling.
I can't say I have ever had a failure.

Hmm I was a bit under the gun when I posted that, and I needed to get the car wrapped up and back on the road, so I installed it dry. I have another seal sitting around, so if it starts to leak, I'll go ahead and install a greased one. Thanks for the help!
