*disclaimer* Sorry for the "generic" sounding ad, I am offering this to racers who in some cases do not "speak Subaru" like most of us. Also I am not suggesting you can go win a time attack event with this car considering it does not have 11.2 zillion whp, just that this is a good platform to build on with more power. *disclaimer*
![]() Up for sale is my 2004 Subaru STi road race car. Turnkey, race ready. Great car for ITE or STO, if you want to add some more power and race with the SCCA, or ST2, PT, TT etc with NASA. I built this car over the last year and it has been a blast to drive since day 1. Fast, safe, and easy to drive. Current SCCA and EMRA logbook and cage stamp, just inspected last month. Everyone knows the basics of the STi (AWD, 6 speed, 2.5L turbo, adjustable center diff etc) so I will not get into that, only what has been changed. It has 11,000 total miles on it and it starts and runs like it is right off the showroom floor. Weighs a hair over 3,000lbs and makes 321hp and 350ft lbs at the wheels on pump gas. Car has never had a big turbo, never run on race gas or methanol or seen boost over 19psi. Built from a running driving car, that was bought back after a theft recovery, not a stripped shell, fire, roll over, flood or any other non sense. I spent a lot of time (and money) ironing out the biggest issue that has plagued these particular cars, and that is the front wheel bearings. I found a higher strength bearing, a treament process, and a grease combo that have been a 100000% improvement. So the new owner can rest easy knowing that the bearing bug has been addressed in this car without changing to the new different hub and bolt pattern. Also, this is not a double duty street and track car, it is a dedicated race car that is not titled, registered or tagged. It is sold with a NY state 907A certificate and bill of sale. If you care to deal with the red tape of making it streetable, be my guest, but I do not recommend it. Here are the specs: Suspension: Racecomp tarmac 2’s Racecomp front camber plates Group N rear top mounts Racecomp front sway bar Racecomp rear sway bar Whiteline front adjustable end links Whiteline rear adjustable end links Perrin rear subframe lock down kit Energy suspension trialing arm bushings "Nissan" front wheel bearings treated with microblue NEO grease in all wheel bearings Agency Power pitch stop Cusco front strut tower brace Perrin adjustable lateral links Engine: RS*R ExMag GT2 catback RS*R Downpipe (wrapped) IXIZ Air Oil separator Gimmick MAF hose APS 70mm CAI CSS TMIC GFB pulleys (not yet installed) Opensource tune by Ray from Turbotektuning: 321whp and 350ft lbs Brakes: Racingbrake 900 compound pads TiSpeed shims Stoptech/Power slot rotors Technafit braided lines ATE blue fluid Performance friction anti knockback springs (5x100 guys, you NEED these) Perrin master cylinder brace Racecomp carbon fiber brake cooling kit Wheels and tires: Enkei RPF1’s, 17x8 in Gold Stock BBS's in Silver Kosei SE's 17x7 in Gunmetal Hoosier Koni challenge spec tires (225 45 17) Hoosier wets (225 45 17) Hankook Z214's C51 compound (245 40 17) Inside outside and other: Whiteline positive shift motorsports kit Kartboy shifter bushings Prodrive shift knob Redline power pack in everything Technafit braided clutch line A/C removed, along with everything else but the dash and front door panels Perrin wing stiffy All red tail lights Aligned and corner balanced at Phoenix performance Full cage with hd padding Corbeau FX1 pro seat G-force 5 point harness w/shoulder pads IO Port camera mount Fire bottle Longacre racing wide rearview Sparco hood pins Blind apex in car lap timer AMB timing transponder Quick release window net Lightweight battery Headlight armor dark smoke film Seibon OEM carbon hood and scoop APR splitter (not yet installed) Fuel test port (sampling tool included) Racequip tow hook Feel free to email me for clarification on any of these parts if you are unfamiliar with them. The car will come with 2 sets of the above mentioned Hankook Z214's, 6 of those 8 have a ton of life left, 2 are about done. The Hoosier wets and brand new with hairs and stickers still on them. The GC Koni tires have plenty of life in them too, I didnt use them much because they are non-DOT, but good for practice. The buyer will also get 2 spare sets of brake pads, a complete set of axles, 3 different rate spring sets, and a set a spare front hubs... along with other misc items I have floating around that are Subaru specific. The only thing you will need to replace soon is the driver's harness, they are dated to expire in November. The price is $20,000 for the STi with all parts and spares. If there is any interest in a package deal, I can also offer my custom built car trailer with winch, toolbox, tire rack, and vise; as well as my low mileage F250 super duty with the 7.3 powerstroke, which also has some goodies on it and gets 20+mpg highway and tows like nothing is behind it. Delivery anywhere in the lower 48 is possible for the right deal. Email is best for me: brandonL610@gmail.com Thanks for looking, Brandon See pics below...

Thanks for the kind words guys.
frsh13: Circuits was sort of a bust for me, I was spending the first sessions bedding in new pads (the only dry time I had) then the rain came. Slicks in the damp suck, hoosier wets in anything but heavy rain suck almost as bad, it was kinda in between that afternoon so I never really got in the groove. I should have brought some street tires, those were the best bet! |

This would be so much easier and cheaper than turning my car into a road race car. Let me think about this for a while and talk to some people. Could be very interested. Could you PM me a price for the trailer car and spares in a package. Also weight of trailer and more details on it such as does it have electric brakes?

The cage was done by Kalani Gohara, his shop is called K-Fab. He is in West Chester PA, and the majority of his cage business is within the Porsche community. He has been doing fab work since the 80's and he was the cage builder at Dougherty's (Porsche race shop) and one of the designers and fabbers at S&W race cars before going out on his own. He also designed and built the first bolt in "trackday" bars to fit the Cayman for Farnbacher Loles.
