Default Regina Spektor >>>>> Ladyman Gaga on SNL

Regina Spektor was on SNL this week and her act blew Ladyboy Gaga's appearance last week out of the water. Say what you will about Gaga's "talent", Regina just was that much better.

And she's hotter too.

And we know she's a she

A buddy of mine produced her 2004 album, Soviet Kitsch.

I think it's kinda cool. I like her more than the other band he produced, The Strokes.

I am bummed that I missed her on SNL, I have always really liked her music. Even though most people have never heard of her.

While I really liked Begin to Hope and I think Regina Spektor has a great voice.. I think this performance was lame.

Last week's Lady Gaga performance was the first I've ever actually seen of her (other than pictures of a bulge of fabric near her groin, the Dat Ass pic and the red lace from the VMAs).. and I thought that was a far more interesting performance and that she has a lot more talent than I was led to believe by the OT. I'm not going to start listening to her music, but I'm going to assume anyone who says her 15 minutes is up is currently tapping their foot to Nickelback.

That said, I'd rather look at Lady Gaga's gyroscopic amusement park outfit than Regina Spektor's classical period ruffles.

SNL was so horrible I couldn't make it past the Gilly sketch. I can't figure out if SNL is incredibly unfunny or if I have simply exited the demographic.

I turned the TV on last night after getting home from seeing Zombieland and saw Regina Spektor. I thought it was an odd performance but I do like her....'Begin to Hope' is a great album.

your post implies you typically only like an artist if other people have heard of them

I can't stand Regina Spektor. The vocals just irritate me and piano doesn't do anything for me.

How do you know? Was it literally in your mouth? Seriously, how/why did this rumor start?
