I dont know if this has been posted already, I didnt find it when I searched in SCIC. But for those interested link below of someone driving on ACH after the fire.

wow.. that's really sad to see such a nice road turned to ash..

Makes me sad everytime I see that. They estimated it wouldn't reopen for at least a year. Almost all the guard rails are gone.

So sad!

Yea that sharp turn going up the canyon is right by my house, so I was up on the hill with a bunch of neighbors watching them put it out. Crazy how much it burned.

...I almost cried just now. I was hoping for a reopening sometime early in 2010.

My favorite spot to go chill (can't drive the Camry as hard as the Crest demanded) is now kaput for a year. Great.

(I guess I should be happy my house didn't burn down.)
