I'm going to be in town, staying at Tyson's Galleria-area. A few of us were talking about grabbing dinner/drinks that night.

Woot. Reservations are in. Friday, 23 October 8p, Lebanese Taverna in Tysons Galleria.

The restaurant is located on the lower level of Tysons Galleria shopping center between Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th Avenue.

Totally. I'm dropping the wife and son off at the airport that evening, and Tyson's is on my way home. What's the plan? A few drinks and then some bad decisions?

Well, this trip is sans Rich.

But, cool! I'm leaving Raleigh around 11a or Noon, so should be at my hotel around 4 or 5, depending on traffic and should be ready to go out around 6 or 7. I think Evan and John were perhaps in, as well.

Don't listen to chicken. Tyson's will be fine. Dinner and drinks at any number of places in the Galleria or Tyson's would be fun.

Ok, cool - it looks like there will be some people up for it, so we can chat offline or whatever and nail down plans of when/where. Since I don't know the area, I can't really suggest something, other than the hotel bar, but I'm sure you all might know of something that would work. Is there a bar around where we can play pool or anything?

Same here, waking up at 2:30am for the season opener. I'd be up for something early. But, my goal is to be in bed by 8pm.

There is a little dive place called Chicks and Wings near tysons. Thats not bad. On the Border has a nice happy hour. Its getting cold as hell out lately so the happening place id Gordon Biersch these days. They have an outdoor/indoor patio. Basically it feels like your outside, but your inside one of the huge atriums of the mall.

Plenty of micro brews and Gordon Biersch, you can't go wrong.

Post up the plan and I may drop by.
