Default I caved.

I finally turned on the heat. It was 58 degrees in my house when I woke up. I was freezing my balls off.

I've programmed my thermostat already. A toasty 68° when I'm at home and awake and a cool 63° when I'm not at home or asleep.

I caved at 60 degrees and set it at 63. I'm used to a house that is 73 degrees year round, so that was very low for me.

Yeah, I was just debating it last night with the wife. 38 degree lows + old drafty house = not a fun time It's an old place with radiator heat (gas-fired) so we really have no idea how much it's going to cost us.

We turn the heat down to 57-59ish every single night during the winter. 62-64 during the day.

Maybe its time for you to grow balls large enough to generate their own heat

Do yourself a favor and start sealing up air leaks ASAP

Nothing is too wonderful to be true, that it can't be reproduced in another experiment. And this is what distinguishes science, from religion.
