Ok well so far on my car that im about to buy (2006 WRX) it has a 20g turbo, a Larger Intercooler and adjustable springs and shocks. What should be my next upgrades I was thinking maybe some injectors maybe some 660cc and a 255 walbro fuel pump. any thoughts or suggestions?

if the seller has a 20g on his car then I am hoping he has the fuel upgrades already done, otherwise I would look for a new car......

Are you sure it doesn't already have bigger injectors? Few 20g upgrades don't.

I would avoid buying this car if I were you. If it is running a 20g without supporting mods chances are it hasn't been tuned and is a disaster waiting to happen.

20g is a big gap from a stock turbo. Bigger injectors should be needed and a bigger fuel pump. What does he say about the tune?

He said he has put new belts fluids in all areas, new spark plugs/wires, motor VAC stuff like that.

If the seller can't tell you what he has done about fuel delivery and EM, I would definitely find another car to buy. A big turbo like that (compared to stock) could shorten the engine's life dramatically unless supporting mods were done.

You're wanting to use 660 injectors with a 20G? Have fun with that.

I wouldn't touch that car with a stick. Don't ever ever ever ever ever buy a car that you don't have a complete mod list for. 20G and stock injectors? That car is a mess.

No turbo heatshield? Upgraded turbo with no boost gauge? No complete mod list? No fuel upgrades? And to top it off, is a rebuild title of questionable history? That car is a rotten egg as previously stated.

There are absolutely NO engine specs on that site.

My thinking is: Unless you plan a FULL rebuild on a car, don't buy modifed. A stock car is way less likely to have been abused.

We don't care to ask him anything it's your money. If you aren't willing to take the sound advice that's been given then go buy it. No one gives a crap what you want to waste money on. We'll wait for your "my engine blew after 1 week" or "I got scammed, cause I bought a car not modded correctly" thread.

Because you don't give out someone elses personal info without getting their OK first.

The answer to your question is: the next mod you should get is fuel injectors and fuel pump, with a tune to go with it. ANY other mod before these would be completely moronic. Unless it's a AAA membership so you can get your car towed home or to a repair shop.

lol it sounds like you're trying to talk us into telling you to get the car, i have the stock 07 STi turbo on my car and i'm running 650cc injectors... of course they're not maxed out but they're up there, if i ran stock injectors they'd be past maxed out

i would definitely reconsider and find something better for the purchase amount or put some extra in your budget to find something a little more reliable and less sketchy

didnt anybody ever tell you NOT to buy a modded car ever unless you know what was completely done with it?
i looked around for 2 months before I found my stock (best of my knowledge at least) 2005. sometimes if you pay more for an unmolested example, it will help you in the long run.

besides, i find modding as a load of enjoyment and fun

Lol, you bought the car anyways? After reading this thread... a lot of people pretty much said, "don't buy a car that's sketch.." But guess its your money! Should've bought a stock car and modify it yourself and learn all the different parts and how they perform so you know what you're doing instead of not knowing jack sh...it and screwing yourself over.

I agree with the guy above me. Half the fun is doing it yourself and learning how everything works. the other half is racing your car and how much more it means to you because you did everything yourself

i know how the parts work on the dam car. im just asking for your opinions oh and just to let you know they had all the recieps to whats been done to the car and who it was done by. so i know what im getting into. i just would like some opinions from other ppl. And I don't really have all the time in the world to put all these parts on my car i work over 50+ hours a week.
