Default Clearin out the headlights! Color combo? help

hey im baking and clearing out my 05 headlights next weekend and was wonderin what would look the best on my impreza, blacked out, or just remove amber and leave them ?

pictures would be extremely helpful

i did mine on my 04 rs, they were the chrome ones though. my wrx now is 05 psm and im about to clear them i will definitely be leaving that stock color in the housing.

...i am also in north jersey now, livingston area

I didnt paint mine and I love how they turned out although yours will be darker with since its an 05. Heres a pic.

Notice how most of the people saying to paint it black have 04's with the chrome housing? I left mine the stock dark gray color and i think it looks great.

im down for like tuesday or thursday, i want to do mine too but i just got the car and im waiting to inspect it, but i did the ones on my 04 rs it was easy

With your car, either would look nice I think. I was debating painting mine flat black, but that would make them stand out too much on my blue car. I just removed the amber and love it.

hey i'm about to do my bugeye lights. its gonna be the first time for me but i'd be down to meet up and do them together. i can't wait i am doing something very unique and definately the first to do it. i will reveal it to nasioc when its done lmk though

P.S. Looking at that red car again reminds me. If you're going to paint your headlights (any color), I recommend filling those holes left over from the reflectors. Unless you plan on putting them back in for some crazy reason!
