I am going to be doing an 8 point bar shortly in my car. Ordered up the moly, now just need some free time to get it done. I'm going to keep all my measurements and maybe do some quality roll bar kits for subaru guys, think people would be interested?

2004wrbsti....does having the halo hanging down that low bother you at all? I think it would drive me nuts..

The A pillar bar should be one piece to the main hoop with a front crossover bar. Thats the strongest way to build it. You dont make a second hoop on the main over your head, all the stress from rolling over will snap that A pillar bar and possibly puncture your helmet and skull. Not trying you be a ******* Im trying to protect you from this deathtrap.

Really..back seats in a caged racecar?

I took mine out for a year. Then I put them back in, with no seat belts. The back seat kills road noise, looks better, holds things in place, is light, and can easily be pulled before the track.

That cage is horrible, but halo bars when properly build are just as strong. There are plenty of examples floating around of both setups failing due to poor fabrication / design.
