Went to have a look at what was competing in this years Targa Rally. A good mix and a shame the camera was super slow at turning on whenever a gem shot past out of service park. But a couple of competitors running Subarus had set up next door to each other so I got these...

Version 10 Spec C. Heavily modified to the point where it's pretty much at GpA spec.

Engine bay of the version 10. ****ing awesome.

I almost never spotted this till I was looking at the damage it copped when they ran over something.

This RS is owned by a guy I know. Dumps out about 214KW at the wheels and has been mildly fettled with. To my knowledge, has only done the front mount, injectors (i think), TD05H and tuned by a Nissan(!) specialist using a Link.

This RS I took quite a fancy to. The co driver was being rather mysterious with what it had and what it was running. The only info I managed to get was it has a factory gearbox with 5th from an Outback for higher top speed, a Forester engine with a large rotated turbo setup with a restrictor on the turbo inlet. It was also detuned to run on pump gas...
