I had them last year. They are seasonal and are the awesomeness!! The spice cake ones are pretty darn good too. I don't know how the non tri-state people survive without Tastykakes but I guess most have never had them.

I remember butterscotch krimpets featuring in a book, I just can't remember the title. That's the reason I finally tries them, and I was impressed to say the least.

The thing is.... you have your Hostess, your Little Debbie, your Drakes, and the Tastykakes BLOW ALL OF THEM AWAY. I don't know why they don't expand, same with Wawa. Wawa is a ton better then 7-11 and those other quick stop places.

They say the brightest stars shine the briefest.

True enough, the last of the Krimpets disappeared from the vending machine this morning.

Into ma' belleh' !

The fine people at Tastykake are offering a CASE of them for about $65 plus shipping, but that probably crosses a line that should not be crossed.

Sweet baby Jesus and all that is good and holy!! I'll definitely be ordering up some of these delightful wedges of Pancake heaven.

I used to live in VA when I was younger and always had easy access to the Tastykake goodness. But when I moved out of state I could never find them locally so I gave up. Then, a few years ago a delicious and yet large package arrives on my doorstep and it's from Tastykake. My dad had ordered my family and I a large assortment of them. Now, every Christmas the kids ask for a Tastykake present and I am only to happy to oblige.

I didn't go through the trouble to set up an account or whatever with them, but Ms. Fury has specced sending TKs to the Krimpet-deprived in Seattle and they absolutely rape you on shipping (like, $40 on a $60 order). Might be different for local.
