So I think I'm gonna do it. Got the stones, and the balls, but no ring. (one .75carat, and 2 .6 carat stones, all D or E in color, and SI1 is the worst stone).

But I digress, I need to figure out 1, when, and 2, where / how.
Her birthday is right after thanksgiving, then between December Jewish & Christian Festivities, and 3 family birthdays including mine, dec is a bit nuts.

What Ideas do you have for how I should lose my manhood?.. I mean bachelorhood.

You never want to give it away on a Holiday, or a birthday. Then its a "gift". Any other day then its a contract. So if they flake out you can get your ring back.

Proposed to my ex at thanksgiving in front of her and my families. As a tradition, we would all hold hands and say what we were thankful for. That year I arranged to go last. I started out saying thanks for her and then got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She was blown away. Completely happy.

Do you have recent pics together? If not, arrange to have some pics taken by a pro. Tell them you want to propose during the session so you can have the moment on film. Work something out so you do several shots first then have a predetermined proposal pose so you know it's time to do it. The shots after that will be your engagement pics.

I took her to our one of our favorite places to eat, and as soon as we sat down I told her I needed to use the restroom. I went and talked with the manager and arranged to have it brought out on a big platter with our dessert. A nice touch that I didn't even ask for was when they brought it out, they dimmed the lights a little bit, and they set it in front of her and removed the lid and she lit up when she saw the ring sitting on top of her cheesecake. She was so happy when we got home she let me PIITB, true story...

Except for that last part!

That was a fantastic idea.

I think the worst thing you can do is have a low key girl and make something way to much out of it, of course the reverse is also true.
