security alarm problem

i got in my car this afternoon and i turned the key to open the door(dont have remote opener), the alarm goes off everytime i open the door.

i have to have the car running tonight very important meeting!!!

either a) how do i disable the security function so i can start the car or b) how do i fix this problem???

any input is appreciated

check your owners manual, there's something in there about this.

ill give it shot. any other quick fix ideas?

When that happens insert the key into the ignition and turn to the run position( all the lights will come on but car does not start), then turn off. Repeat two more times.

Try locking the doors with the key and unlocking with the key and that shouldn't happen

disconnect your horns........lights might flash still but just tell people "hey yeah I just wanted to show you guys I'm leaving"

Just reconnect them before your inspection time
