Default Hai!

Hey all,

Just got a 2010 WRX STi in WRB a little over a month ago and I'm loving it. After having to get rid of my last modded vehicle in favour of a more "responsible" choice for University, I'm glad to be driving something that is a more fun than a 1999 Honda CRV, and less of a jump from my bike on miserable days.

No pics of the Subie quite yet, but when I get around to it, they'll look like this:

Thanks for the welcomes!

I don't have any photography or editing skills; the pics were taken by a friend of mine that does photography as a hardcore hobby. One of these days I'll get pics of the Subie...I'm too lazy to do it myself. lol

Welcome to the forum. 2008 right? I have a 09 R1. Unfortunately the season has ended and back into storage the bike is going within the next week or so. I was on the verge of buying a Buell a couple weeks ago, I have a friend who races them and with Harley dumping Buell you can find then dirt cheap (5k under sticker). Then common sense kicked in...

Friend bought a CG for about 6-7k. Things is awesome fun...

Wish I had the means to get a 2010 STI...Congrats on that, cant wait to see pics...

It's an 07 R1, but eh, still the same bodystyle I believe? Either way, it's fast enough for me; more than fast enough.

Those Buell's are crazy, I have a friend that has one (don't remember what it is but looks nearly identical to that one). I always think the brake system is interesting. They're pretty loud with a pipe, and they shake a lot. lol

Surprisingly, no real snow yet, which is mildly disappointing since it'll be my first winter with a quick AWD vehicle as opposed to my stupid CRV. lol

Yea, which is why I'm lucky that they haven't arrived yet! Hehe, they're unfortunately on back-order, but I just hope they'll be here in time for the flurries.

Which ones are you getting? The Michelin Xice 2 had a top score recently when reviewed by LaPresse in Montreal...and I believe Costco carries them.

I'm sticking with OEM tire sizes, so I had to find a 245 / 40 / R18, so I'm going with Blizzak WS60's. Pickin's is slim in that tire size, otherwise I love Michelin XIce tires; I've had them on 3 vehicles.
