Default Going FP GREEN!

So im thinking about getting a FP green for my 06 TR, an wanted to check that ive got all my ducks standing in a row so it gose smoothly when the hammer falls

. My current setup is a stock 06 wrx tr ej25, its got a sti tmic, vf39, short ram intake, and a perrine dp/hks hi power exaust "thinking about going maddad wisper twintip tired of waking the neiborhood", and a pro tune.. im making 267whp.

from my searching, im going to need to upgrade my fuel pump, injecters, fuel regulater, rails, and a new tune.. is their anything ive left out that is needed or anything ive mentioned that is not needed?

Also how big of an injecter should i get? Would like to make in the ballpark of 350-400whp I was thinking 850cc.

Dose anyone have a meth kit on their DD?

You should be good with 850's and you don't need fuel rails or regulator. Stock is fine. Walbro pump and possibly a new turbo inlet depending on whether the green is 2.4" (stock size) or 3" inlet.

Many people here have meth on their DD.

You will need a bigger Intercooler.
Upgraded gauges is a plus too. . things like accurate oil pressure/temp A/F Boost

Allot of poeple run meth on their DD but do you really want to be buying butt loads of washer fluid and refilling it on a regular basis lol

Yes, I forgot the IC. Even an 08 STI TMIC would be a good upgrade or the SSAC or any front mount.

would a stock STI tmic work ok? or would i need somthing alittle bigger? Would rather stay tmic an deal with the heat soak rather than go fmic an have turbo lag.

Good looks on the guages forgot about those.. ive got a boost guage but probily should get a/f, egt, and oil.. Although i like how clean the dash looks without the clutter of guages

things you need :

injectors - 850's will work
fuel pump - walbro 255
intercooler - anything bigger than stock
Spark plugs - One step colder

I HOPE you have suspension to prevent all the weight transfer between shifts with that much power

With a turbo this size I'd go with an FMIC. don't worry about lag it's overrated.
How do you plan to control boost?

I would say an inlet is a must even if he gets the 2.4, the stock inlet will hold you back a good amount on a Green.

I would say 850's, and inlet, pump, a GOOD top mount since you dont want a fmic...

While theres alot of other things that can net you some good power, I would say those are the bare necessities

I will be the first to throw in the broken record comment, surprising on how many people don't realize this.....you will need a built tranny or a 6 speed to handle that amount of power/torque. It won't last very long if you bang on it...Believe me, I've been there.

Mostly due to the fact that you can't Shift.
As long as you dront rag through the gears your trans will be fine.

My buddy is running 400WHP on his 2002 RS-T with stock Trans no issues.

You will want to look into upgraded clutch's though.

350WHP isnt cheap.

It all depends for the motor.I ran a green for thirty thousand miles on my 05 sti with about ten track days before the turbo **** the bed.I am now running a rotated 30r for another twenty thousand miles and atleast ten more track days and my motor is fine.

If you get the right tune and not run it to get every ounce of power out of it and leave a little on the table it will last longer.

You dont HAVE to build your tranny right away,

Ive gone sub 12's a few times already this season in a stock 03 tranny....

Its not going to explode the second you floor it, but just be prepared that at this much power it CAN happen, Stick to a sonfter clutch like a stage 1 exedy, nothing to harsh and dont slam gears like you stole it and you may be ok.

the benefit of a fmic over a tmic in my opinion is a smoother more linear powerband. You will also make a alot more power over a tmic due to one colder air and two colder air lol plus the colder the air going into your motor the longer its going to last. and trust me on your 2.5liter you'll be far from the lag experienced on a 2 liter motor

Ive got some susspention done ive gotfront and rear swaybars control arms and endlinks
