Default Check Engine light is on

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Maybe its just a coincidence but I took out one of my fuses and then put it back in(the red 10) and I started my car and was warmming it up and noticed that it was bogging a little bit and was watching my rpms drop and slowly hear my car die and it stalls. So I turn it back on and my check engines on but I didnt know so I started driving it and when i come to a stop my car sounds like its dieing and the oil gauge is spiking up and down.

has anyone ever had this problem.

I live in the Bay Area and is there a good service place you take your cars i just recently bought my car so i would not know.
I'm at 63,000 miles.

I have light mods:
-up and down pipe
-exhaust
-fmic
-pov

Thank you

What fuse did you pull?

Did you start the car or drive around with the fuse removed?

Did the fuse blow after you put it back in?

The connection will be broken...

Assuming you have an AP considering your mods, it will read codes.

No, that costs money. First, go to Autozone or Advance and get them to read the codes. Then tell us what they are. Could be a simple fix that you could do yourself.

Unlikely. You pulled one of the many 10 amp fuses. Even if you did reset the ECU it doesnt cause what you are describing.

Goto autozone and see if they will read the code. The autozones around me wont do it for free anymore. Your area still might...

No dude, that's the point of that. Nobody can help you with anything unless you listen to all the people above and get the codes.. then you can get answers of whats going on.

cylinders 2,4 misfire.

Pull your plugs and check them first. You are looking for a "cocoa-tan" color, fairly evenly distributed. Check the gap without damaging the electrode.

Check the coilpacks grounds for cylinders 2 and 4. They should be bolted onto the same location on the driver's side of the intake manifold. Clean them up and see if the misfires go away.

If you're running on the original spark plugs they need to be changed. The iridiums are generally good until the 60k maintenance.
