Gas door wont shut....part two... :(

So My gas door wouldnt shut.....explained here...http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/genera...shut-help.html

If you want something done right do it right the first time eh? Lol This thing is really pissin me off. It froze up again after like a week. I ripped everything that needed to be like trim, seats, gas filling assembly place, etc.... I took the wire out and now Im clueless. Im stuck....should I buy one from the siubaru dealership? Or should I PB blaster the CRAP outta this wire and try again. I already know the answer though...just get a new wire lol. Let me see how much it will cost

I got an idea though! I grabbed the end that goes on the gas tank took it off, it had a little saucer like area, I put that in the air, and the other end down low, I think it might be corrosion or something like that. I put some PB blaster in the saucer and I will continue to replenish it untill it operates smoothly....Then Ill replace the PB with some oil and slap er back in!

Put some 75w90 in it....its all oiled up now : ) Ill install tomorrow

Works better if you car is CGM

....not that I know from having to use to secure my hood from flying up when the hatch broke and subaru took 3 days to get the new part in.....

still working after all this tim, still crisp and clean if anyone is having problems I reccomend this
