What year did the bug eyes come in, in the US?

What year does the bug eyes come in stock? My guess is 2001-2003 and then 2004 is this (picture below) right? But when I googled it I see these headlights on the 2003 models also. Can someone shread some light into me? thanks

This is what I'm meant by bug-eyes (i'm sure you guys know but I just wanna make sure you know what I'm referring to lol)

you might be thinking of the date they were actually manufactured

Also keep in mind that everywhere else in the world got the bugeye in 2001.

so everywhere else, the bugeye was 01-02, and the preceding styles were a year off/earlier.

the cars you have in your pictures are not US spec. i believe the non US spec subarus came out earlier overseas before the design was sent over to america for production. the US spec we are use to vms150 has already listed

Mine was built in Feb of 2001. It says so inside the driver door.

I believe the JDM versions were available with a manufacture date as far back as Sept.2000 / Oct.2002 (in Japan).

oh man^^

the us is a year behind. japan the bugye was 01-02. here it was 02-03. now...just like EVERY other car manufacturer, we can get the car the year before its model date. so like people getting the 2010 bmw 7series right now, people were able to get the 02 bugeye in 01.

The MY was 2002. Like all vehicles people were buying them in 2001. Just like I bought my 2006 WRX in November of 2005...
