Default My first subaru

I picked this car up about 2 months ago, knowing nothing about subarus. I sold my 98 m3 the same day, and was overly anxious to get another car immediately. I really got ripped off pretty badly on this car. I bought it knowing it had hail damage badly on the hood, minor on the roof, and just a couple dings on a few side panels. It had only 85k miles, and supposedly was stock, and had a new clutch(with reciepts), new tires, and nicer wheels. Well it was raining when I bought it, and I knew nothing about what to look for in the engines. I found it leaked tons of oil after a few sunny days out. A week later I went stage 2 collecting some used parts and an xpt tuning stage 2 tune compliments of Noah on here(thanks a ton!). Then two weeks after that I tackled the timing belt, all pulleys, two cam seals, the crank seal, water pump, then a week later an axle, and the spark plugs(which were one step colder plugs that I replaced, hmmm?). The guys I had do my up/downpipe said their were tons of signs it was modified before including new bolts on the turbo, non stock gaskets, missing the turbo heat shield, and some other things. I'm not too concerned though because it runs and drives great after all the work I've done.

i agree with blakkboxer, those wheels are ok but could use a change IMO. Over all the car is pretty clean though, congratulations.

a bit too big for that car.

Those wheels cannot go into "to each his own" situation. Please change them, horrible.

Rest looks good and clean.

wow wasn't expecting such harsh criticism, well I really want the rota torques, but these are staying a while because I dont' feel like spending money and they have new tires on them, and they are 18 inch.
