this anymore???

Default 107 & 113 and No...It's not the combination to my luggage.

Dammit!...My car chrew a CEL light Sat. night on my way home.

I was stuck in traffic, when I saw an opening on the right lane. I gunned it and noticed the CEL when I was about 5000 or so RPM's. Then the car started giving me lip. Instead of idling like it's supposed to, it would rev up and then rev down like if it was following the beat of a ticking clock. My MR2 used to do that when it was low on coolant or was about to overheat, but the temp guage on the RS didnt' budge.
I took the car in today to have the CEL code pulled and I got a: 0107, and 0113 code.
I've included the pics of the print out so that, anyone who knows what that means, can tell me what happened.

Sure hope this is covered under warranty.

Just as a preliminary, I would take a look at the MAP and IAT sensors and see if their connectors are securely on... look a ways down the harness for any signs of the harness rubbing through on something and shorting. I hope I'm correct in assuming that the MAP and IAT sensors are housed in the same unit... possiably sharing a connector and/or the circuts being run in the same harness. Kinda strange that two DTC's set at the same time for seemingly unrelated sensor problems. Just my .02

Not really unrelated, they are in the same sensor, and they share the same 5 volt reference that makes them both work. If the the 5volt reference to that sensor goes, it will set both codes. Like Horsepower said, check for a wiring or connection concern.

They are both made into a 4 wire sensor on top of the intake, forward of the throttle body. It's about an inch square.

well, I took a looksee at those wires and followed them all the way to the firewall. They sure look secure to me. I even tried to jiggle, and tug at them but they wouldn't budge. Ok, now I'm starting to get worried.

I replied in your other thread..but ill put it here too.

Do you have an safc?

I had a similiar problem, disconnected the map signal tap for the afc, and the car is fine now aside from really crappy gas mileage...I dont know if its realted but the map problem has not accured since.

are you still in warranty? i priced the map sensor at around 200 bux

mine was p0108, map sensor high ckt high input I think.
