Barry was on the dirt for a whole 8 seconds!!!!!!! Will Barry be the next Petter Solberg?!?!?!

Had an awesome time yesterday, and I'm really tired today. I apologize to everyone to having to move the meet from the beach to the park, although it turned out better. The caravans worked well, and we didn't lose anyone (for more than a minute or two ). It was great to see everyone take care when coming over the bridge and going to and from the park. The park rangers were out and looking for someone to screw up, and no one did. Props to all the chefs we had yesterday, the food was awesome!!!! Thanks to everyone for coming out, including those who drove in from Jersey and Westchester!

We made 2 new members yesterday as well! The guy with the sweet looking black WRX who was heading south on William Floyd as the caravans of cars were going north, decided to swing a u-turn and see where we were all going. Then the priest with the only other SRP WRX.

I think the unofficial count was ~38 cars. There was hardly any food left over which was good, and everyone cleaned up after themselves! Thanks again to everyone fo rmaking the 2nd annual LI Spring BBQ a major success!
