I'm sad to see it go. I love my projects.

It's on my daily driver and it is rock solid reliable. I have driven it in conditions ranging from -30F to 110F degrees and on trips as long as 500 miles non-stop. The Supercharger is self contained. There are no oil lines or coolant lines to run. Power delivery is smooth. All of the rotating "rimmer kit" parts have been discarded. The new rotating assemblies have less than 15,000 miles on them (all by me). I worked directly with Eaton/Magnuson on the supercharger/drive design and it's totally custom and the only one like it. They say it should have an expected life of 100,000 miles.

Only recommendation would be a J&S safeguard if your going to run the 8-10psi of boost. You'll need to pull some timing out. No I won't guarantee you won't blow up your own car but 5psi won't need the timing control.

Bubble shot (because I feel people give it a bad name - i'm kinda fond of it). This thing turns heads nothing beats blower wine at high rpm.

Thanks!

To be honest I don't have solid numbers for anyone. I never dyno'd it. Madmax has a car with the same supercharger but it's intercooled - It put down 184hp and 204lb/ft at 6psi.

I know my kit makes more torque than hp I'm sure of that. The only numbers I have is that I used to run a 0-60 time of 9.3 seconds stock (remember its an automatic). I now run a 6.2 second 0-60. Thats with a car that weighs in at 3320lbs with my stereo system (porky), me (porky), full of gas, spare tire, and some stuff in the trunk. My tune is pretty conservative and my engine has ~100,000 miles on it (runs great though).

Here's a video of it so you can see and hear it run. It's in the video three separate times.

Does the engine require lifting to install the kit?

The popular answer - One I need money. Two, my brother (Joncas2 on the club) recently purchased a 1998 RS and we'd like to have similar setups to do track events together and compete with each other. We really can't afford to duplicate this supercharger setup in any cost effective manner (it costs too much). We thought about it but with our budgets we just can't swing it. So yea umm yea.

Yes. You will need a Map sensor voltage clamp. I think they are inexpensive. I know the J&S safeguard I mentioned has one built in too (but its like $450 and does way more than just voltage clamping).

No lifting - no cutting. Except of course the hood - which comes with it.

Thanks for the props. It's been hard work and dedication to make it what it is. Now for the questions:

Quote:
Are you running a full exhuast?
Yes, Borla headers, 3 inch custom mandrel high flow cat section I made, 3 inch greddy dd exhaust.

Quote:
Do you have a closer pic of the hood? I'm trippin on it

Quote:

Best I have from side. Check the Greddy website. They have another.

Quote:

I don't know to be honest. I mean the engine bay is the same size but there are a few key pieces that must be the same as the EJ25. The bolt pattern on the throttle body must be the same. The distance and angle of the throttle body to the crank pulley must be the same. The crank pulley must be the same size as on the EJ25 if you don't want to have one made (but thats not a real big deal). If those variables are the same I don't see why it wouldn't fit but I'm not going to claim anything. PM me with your email and I'd be happy to send you some more pictures if you want.

Any interest in selling the exhaust? or a trade? Probably not huh?

Can you answer me a question about it.. does it come with silencers?

No trade on the exhaust unless its for a brullen 3 inch quiet dual tip or $650 so I'm almost able to get one (It was new 8 months ago). Supposedly it does come with silencers. I didn't get any. Talked to Greddy - they denied they existed. Talked to a Japan importer... $95 later... we have Greddy DD silencers... amazing. Took 8 weeks. That's really why I would want so much for it. It was a pain to get it and expensive.
